Williams Lezcano was born in Cuba 1984. He has studied extensively over the last 10 years and has graduated from the “Superior School of Art.” He has done numerous exhibitions and won many first prize awards.

Inspired by “The City of God” Williams Lezcano has created a topographical map-like cityscape, complete with insignia’s to direct us. He has superimposed religious figures as if guiding and guarding the city with this ever enduring omnipresence.  In keeping with this theme Williams has used ‘bitumen’ in his paintings, a byproduct used to make asphalt. Brilliantly conceived and masterfully executed; Williams’ work smacks of classical timelessness.
